Vintage miniature leather drum souvenir necklace and postcard from
Yellowstone National Park.
Both items found together at recent local estate sale. 1950s. Items described individually below.
YELLOWSTONE POSTCARD:
Mini postcard with attached miniature handmade drum. Front side of card has stamped image of Native Americans, "From Yellowstone Park" in blue ink. Back side of card has "From/To" with handwritten information in pencil. Postmarked 3 cent stamp. Card is crumpled from having been mailed. Drum made of tree branch section covered on both sides with genuine leather/leather straps. Painted red/blue decoration on one end.

YELLOWSTONE NECKLACE:
Single strand of beads made from 2 different types of nuts. Miniature drum pendant made from unknown material covered on both sides with genuine leather, blue string straps. Triple fringe dangles made of 2 different kinds of smaller nuts. No clasp; long enough to slip over head. Smudge of white paint on one side of drum may or may not be original to necklace. Very good condition.
