Santo Domingo double strand Morenci turquoise, heishi, 925 bench bead necklace

Description

This is a great, great Navajo, Santo Domingo necklace.  The stunning turquoise nuggets are large and fairly uniform in size at approx 8-10 mm, from start to finish and have nice black matrix to it showing a lot of pyrite.  These are paired with large, rich brown heishi measuring approx 5.5 mm, a big size. The necklace is finished off with 4 large sterling, approx 9 mm BENCH beads and sterling hook and eye closure.  It is tightly made with waxed cord and sterling wire.  The nuggets are well chosen in size, shape and color.  I believe them to be Morenci turquoise due to the large amounts of pyrite showing, but I am no expert.  The necklace measures approx 30 inch long. There is a lot of turquoise in this necklace to be sure.
