This was a great period for the Stones when they were at the very top of their popularity and putting out their best tunes. Although Brian Jones was an important factor to their early success,
Mick Taylor was a talented and much better lead guitarist.  He was key to bring them to a much higher rock and roll level.  He did so by adding great hard driven guitar riffs and song writing contributions (which they never gave him credit for).  Once Taylor quit, that faded and they lost their raw edge as well as much of their originality.  To their credit though, they have stayed the course and are as iconic as ever.  I believe they are currently the longest touring band of all time.
The cover is fairly worn but no splits, just edge and corner wear.  Fortunately and more importantly the vinyl and post cards are in great shape!  The vinyl was not played much and plays great, although there is just one area that is not so good.  It's the first minute of side 2,  there's some type of damage there.  The rest of the album is great.  The post cards are all attached and show minimal wear.  The hard vinyl sleeves only show a little wear and have no splits.  So overall it's still a nice set.
