These adapters include 1) 23 mm microscope adapter 2) 30 mm adapter sleeve. They can adapt the digital camera to both the standard compound microscope through its 23 mm ocular tube, trinocular phototube, and to 30 mm ocular tube stereomicroscope using additional adapter sleeve. Directly screw onto Nikon Coolpix camera series, such as 800, 900, 950,990,995 and 4500. For other types of Nikon coolpix camera, this lens adapter can also work with it, but you need additional step down adapter. How to Use the Adapter
Screw the lens adapter to Nikon cameras
Place the lens adapter into the compound microscope ocular tube.
Adjust microscope to focus on the objective to the sharpest on LCD of the camera.
Make sure the illumination under the microscope is bright enough.
Set the camera to Press Focus on the camera and take an image.
For stereomicroscope, place 30 mm adapter sleeve over 23 mm adapter, and insert the assembly into 30 mm ocular tube
