    Description

    Back in the 1990s, a trading card manufacturer named Cornerstone Communications began to issue high-quality sets after obtaining several desirable and lucrative licenses.
    They also acquired the Rolling Stones license and planned to issue a set dedicated exclusively to this legendary rock N' Roll band.
    Cornerstone produced 2 different 5 card prototype/promo sets to show the band what the format and general content of the cards would be.
    One of the prototype sets had a black border around 3 of the cards and a yellow and gray one respectively framing the last 2 cards. The other proposed prototype format had a white border around all 5 cards.
    Less than a handful of these prototype card sets were made, and they only surfaced after the company went bankrupt. Even the most advanced music card collectors don't own these cards.
    Unfortunately, these prototype cards are the only remnants of what would have been a majestic tribute to these musical icons. They are part of Rock N'Roll music history.
