Want to get on to another project...Toyota Sera for sale 00 OBO: VIN: EXY100013571
1991 EXY10, Swapped with 4E-FTE turbo engine from Toyota Starlet. Manual Transmission. Fun car gets a lot of looks at Cars & Coffee!
Miles are high but engine has been recently serviced. Currently 293271km (182230 miles) but increasing as I drive.(Driven 146 miles since the last time this listing was posted) Driven about 1946km since repairs.
-New Thermostat (old one stuck open)
-Newly replaced Timing Belt
-New Head Gasket
-New Pistons
-New Ignition Coil, Wires, Distributor Cap and Rotor
-New Air and Oil Filters
-New Radiator
-New Front and Rear Struts
-New PS/AC and Alternator belts
-Newly rebuilt Alternator
-New Oil Catch can
-New remotes for doors
-Replaced Turbo Oil return hose
-Replaced, Intercooler cover, coolant temperature sensor
-Replaced several vacuum and coolant hoses
-Repaired trunk shelf, passenger sun shade, radio
-Comes with extra misc parts including thermostat and extra wrap.
-Recently wrapped in paint matching wrap
Car runs great and recently passed Oregon DEQ (Emissions/Inspection). Fully licensed and clean title. Manual transmission and turbo motor makes this a fun car to drive.
Known issues: Car was wrapped but wrapper did not feel they could wrap spoiler and bumper with remaining wrap so left undone. I have extra wrap and there is enough for one or the other. Car was repainted blue in Japan, original color is silver. Paint was peeling and had a few defects that were repaired, so I decided to wrap it to protect the car until it can be properly repainted. Small cracks and bad paint on aftermarket bumper and spoiler. AC has refrigerant (system is pressurized) but does not blow cold. Interior has some typical wear you would expect for a 30 year old car, but looks good!
